I always liked dogs, but I did not grow up with them – except perhaps two Scotch Terriers that lived with us in my early childhood. As a child, I was fond of German Shepherds for their resemblance with wolves. I did not have the slightest idea of how significantly dogs would affect my future life.

The doggie that literally turned my life upside down was my golden retriever Dino. He ushered me into his canine world, and it was precisely him who let me find my world and my sense of life at a certain period – the answer to the question why I am here and what is meant to be my works.

From the very beginning, I was the only one who would bring up and train little Dino, a tiny puppy at that time. Nevertheless, trying to be responsible in the training, we took part in two training lessons together, which brought into my future life one clear piece of awareness: that it was not the way I wanted to do it. From the first moment I knew that I wanted to work with my dog as tuned to his communication band – via his psyche, not in the way of generally practiced approach almost identical with classical drill. There followed a “farewell” to the classical methods, then some independent training of several dogs, and in the autumn of 1998 the establishment of the Falco Dog-Training School.

Primarily, my tuition lessons were prevailingly focused on the training, but even at that time I put emphasis on practical aspects needed in ordinary life – not on the effect, which I happily leave to others. The training was based on a psychical approach, not on the way of drill. We also taught defense, concentrating on increasing the dogs’ self-confidence (as well as their owners’ J) rather than on developing anger. The result was dogs of various breeds, which even in their young age (in the testimonials of their owners) passed exams of character and basic skills, and achieved honor in other trainings too – until their owners disclosed where they had learnt it… Well, we live in the Czech Republic, and there is no forgiveness for success of any kind, which would prove true again many times since.

Time was passing, and I started to communicate with dogs more intensively – I began to observe them and let them teach me their language. In October 2000 I founded the FALCO DOG WEBSITES on the Internet, through which I still endeavor to broadcast a different approach to dogs and their lives, and where I run a consulting service in which people appeal to me with various problems concerning their four-legged friends and their upbringing and training.

In the Fall 2001, a West Siberian Laika named Shadow became another member of my pack. I chose him quite intentionally, regarding the breed – laikas are dogs that have never stopped being wolfs. It is not a breed for everybody, but I highly appreciate its nature, intelligence, independence and faith, its behavior pattern. Shaddie has taught me many things about dogs’ communication, and my grace towards him is eternal. Unfortunately, as a dog with the typical wolf-like expression and behavior he puts up with human aversion too often – the roots of the “Little-Red-Hood complex” in people are incredibly deep.

In the spring of 2001, the tradition of my FALCO TRAINING AND LEISURE SESSIONS came into being, where dogkeepers take their chance to learn about the natural life of dogs in a pack and implement many aspects of upbringing, training and general attitude towards dogs practically. People who currently require their problem’s solution or prefer individual approach are provided with my DOG TRAINING SERVICE FALCO, which is available to everyone willing to work on oneself. Nowadays, people from all over the Czech Republic and abroad attend my sessions, and each of them brings evidence that my work with dogs and publicity of their thinking makes sense.

In 2005, I brought up a new acquisition - CONSULTING SEMINARS AND PRESENTATIONS. They are events that provide people with a chance of learning my conception of work with doggies, based on the method of the natural communication.

... and why the FALCO DOG WEBSITE is just the way it is:

Since their very first origination, I have conceived the FALCO DOG WEBSITE as absolutely independent, without any commercial advertisements, sponsors or commercial support, with only my own self-censorship, but with the right to write and publish things the way I feel. Just like my “canine response”, also my internet presentation is based on rules of certain kind: within its extent (nowadays large), each reader keeps at his disposal huge amount of information concerning both the natural dog communication along with my  project and general information of the dog issue, upbringing and training. I make this information available selflessly, with only one single restriction: As an author craft, it is protected by copyright; therefore, no part of these sites may be copied, published or misappropriated in any way.

The Consulting Service section, as another non-profit activity, has one single rule: before formulating and sending your questions (which I will, certainly, like to answer), please read carefully all the contents of the sites (including the archives) to check whether no similar issue has been solved yet. It only exacts some time from the questioner, together with using fulltext searchers - which is, apropos, a component of every internet browser. Of course, no questions of anonymous, pejorative or flame character will be answered. The Consulting Service is shielded by my name; I give advice and help in my best conscience, and I will appreciate no one confusing the Consulting Service with an anonymous discussion forum, in return for my hard work.

If somebody has such a problem with his doggie that cannot be solved at a distance (and these cases are usually frequent), do not hesitate to contact me by phone and make appointment for training service. That’s what it is there for, and that’s why I am there. I’ll like to help.
